Some 70% of journalists expect a significant decline in ad spending because of the war in Ukraine, according to the findings of a new report from the Center for Media, Data & Society (CMDS), based on a survey among more than 200 journalists in 82 countries.
In some countries, according to journalists who participated in the survey, large advertisers already signaled plans to slash their ad revenues in anticipation of a major economic crisis that is likely to affect their business.
