Idiot of the Week: Andrzej Duda

Polish President Andrzej Duda has the honor to be the idiot of the week after he has recently accused the LGBT movement of advancing ideas that are more harmful than communism. He agreed with a conservative politician (another potential candidate to the idiot of the week title) who stated that “LGBT is not people, it’s an ideology.” Because the Polish economy is in free fall and joblessness is growing, Mr Duda is trying to shift the attention in the electoral campaign for a new term as president. Although he’s not personally opposed to gay people, Mr Duda said that LGBTQ “ideology” is something different.
