Submit a Provenance Request
In an age increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence, it has become essential to know who creates what and who distributes what. MediaPowerMonitor investigates the provenance of entities that shape information — identifying ownership and funding as well as whether the content they produce is AI-generated, AI-assisted, or verified as human-authored.
A team of experts and journalists, coordinated by the Media and Journalism Research Center (MJRC), is continuously mapping and verifying the ecosystem of actors that produce, share, or amplify content online.
For each entity, we collect verifiable information on:
- Ownership and funding
- Editorial or institutional affiliations
- Distribution channels and partnerships
- Public transparency records and regulatory data
- Content provenance — including indicators of AI generation, automation, or HumanProof verification
Basic information from these investigations is made publicly available in our open Narrative Intelligence Repository. For complete dossiers, including extended background, verified source documentation, and analytical assessments, requests must be made directly through MJRC.
How to make a Provenance Request
